Falcons said a huge thank you to Mrs Wright for letting them visit Organic Blooms and for organising some activities which linked to their topic of plants. They had a lovely time, watering, planting and cutting flowers in the sun and were very gentle with the chickens too.

Here are some photos of our visit to the building site in Iron Acton. Lovells staff were excellent and gave us a guided tour and expertly answered some of the children’s questions. The best part was watching the big digger!

Mindfulness club started this week. We had a very relaxing time concentrating on our breathing and walking. We made boats out of bricks and placed them on our bodies to see them rise and fall with our breath whilst breathing smoothly and trying not to let them topple over. We then walked slowly, taking notice of  every muscle, sensation, weight and movement as we took each step. It was a truly calming experience.

Eagles class presented their Tudor topic to parents at Acton Court last Friday. It was such an exciting and fulfilling end to the topic. The children have been learning about The Tudors for two terms and have worked really hard for the last couple of weeks to put together engaging presentations for their families to enjoy. Eagles class did an exceptional job. The children worked independently on their presentations and used drama, images and examples of work to share their learning. They delivered it with confidence and showing deep and varied learning. VERY well done! Many thanks to Acton Court for hosting us and Organic Blooms for providing  a workshop.
