All admissions to the school are dealt with by South Gloucestershire Council.
Reception places
The deadline for Reception applications is mid-January. We have open days September – December each year to show prospective parents what happens at Iron Acton Primary school. Please contact the school office to book a visit and come along to see the children in action.

In year applications
Children are welcome to join us part way through the school year if we have spaces. Please phone the school office to arrange to look around the school. You will need to use the South Gloucestershire Council admissions process, which can be found here.
Secondary transfer
At the end of year 6, children move to a variety of local secondary schools in the area, including Brimsham Green, Yate Academy and Chipping Sodbury. The deadline for secondary applications is 31st October each year. Please apply through South Gloucestershire admissions website, which can be found here.
