Families are offered a three week menu, which changes several times throughout the school year. There are two main meal options plus jacket potatoe or a baguette. Children may choose to have fruit, yoghurt or a cooked pudding. Alternatively, children may bring a healthy packed lunch into school.
The current cost of a school dinner is £2.60 per day and payments are made using our cashless payment system, ParentPay.

Meals adhere to the Red Tractor food standards and those also set out by the Soil Association.
Universal Infant Free School Meals
Your child will be able to get free school meals if they are in:
- Barn Owls class – Reception
- Falcons class – Year 1 and Year 2
If your child is in one of these classes, you do not need to apply for universal infant free school meals.
Free School Meals
Parents and carers can now find information about free school meals, check eligibility and apply online via the South Gloucestershire Council Citizen Portal.
If your child is eligible, you will receive a confirmation message about your successful application and we will be notified directly.
Help us get more funding for your child
Even if you would prefer your child to eat packed lunch, but you think you may be eligible for free school meals, whether or not your child receives Universal Infant Free School Meals, it is important that you still apply via the citizen portal.
For every approved application, the school receives Pupil Premium. This is extra money paid directly to schools for each child, who is eligible, and is used to support your their education.
Eligible children may also be able to receive discounts on other school activities such as educational trips and visits.
Your application and free school meal status will be treated in the strictest confidence.
Fresh Milk
Fresh milk is available daily for your child at our school through a scheme set up jointly by the Local Education Authority, and School Milk Services Limited. The milk is subsidised and is available to all children aged from five to eleven years old. Milk is free for those children in Reception until their 5th birthday.

Healthy Snack
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are given a piece of fruit or vegetable snack during break time. Children may bring a piece of fruit from home, to encourage healthy eating.
